Move through postures by incorporating breath to movement in this Power Vinyasa class. This vigorous flow will allow you explore deep stretching, Sun Salutations, standing postures and core work followed by a calming, meditative Savasana. All levels welcome and encouraged. Many modifications offered to all levels to find the right pose in order to deepen your personal practice based on your personal strength and flexibility.
Growing up an athlete, I played volleyball, softball, cheered and danced. I am in avid runner competing in full and half marathons, love to lift weights and kick box as well. I began to incorporate yoga in my routine in order to stretch, work on my flexibility and improve my endurance. It was with yoga that I was able to make my first body to mind connection. And so began my love for yoga, a practice I have been working on for over 20 years. I believe breath is the foundation of yoga and it's practice can calm you, center you and bring you more awareness to your every day life. I like to lead all my classes with intention in order to bring focus to our mats and away from the chaos of the external world. I believe I can help lead you to a path of strength, flexibility, mindfulness, self reflection and contentment.
